Overview:

We are seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer in Walnut Creek, CA. This role involves working on various projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants. Responsibilities:

Execute detailed electrical power systems designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities under the guidance of a Senior Level Electrical Engineer.

Perform load calculations, detailed conduit routing, design motor control centers and switchgears, and develop specifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

6 to 12 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.

Professional Engineer (PE) registration.

Proficiency in power system applications, including calculating available short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor.

Hands-on experience in field investigations and startup procedures.

Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC.

Familiarity with the IEEE color book series.

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Excellent communication skills.

Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting.

Ability to positively engage with clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
