Building Facilities Consulting Internship; Level 1

Position: Building Facilities Consulting Internship (Level 1)
Responsibilities

* Conducting field observations associated with existing facilities

* Performing facilities related services including roofing and waterproofing, fireproofing and fire stopping, exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS), anchor testing, coring, scanning, material sampling, leak investigations, and forensic investigations

* Interacting and communicating effectively with site contractors, other technicians, and project managers

Qualifications

* Actively pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related degree

* Interest in building forensics, mechanical systems, and structures

* Position requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height

* Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - mileage will be reimbursed

The expected pay range for this role and location is $20-$30/hour. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
