This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to lead innovation, engineer impact, and build a legacy of  the role of Structural Engineering Team Lead, we'll count on you to work with other Nor Cal structural team leads and under guidance of the Nor Cal structural business class lead to:
Supervise and be responsible for a team of engineers, designers, and/or modelers toward technical training and development, project delivery, and workload management

Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in structural engineering as it relates to projects, and resolve problems of greater scope and complexity

Perform, plan, direct, and monitor all structural aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity, typically involving a large project staff

Coordinate staffing and workload of staff through entire project development to complete documents on schedule

Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently

Coordinate staffing and workload of staff through entire project development to complete documents on schedule

Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions in conjunction with other Project Managers, appropriate technical professionals and other disciplines

Assist in the responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support

May function as an Assistant Project Manager and assist in responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities

Assist with administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections

Be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews

Be directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues

Assist in ensuring that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management system

Implement, monitor and support company policy

Assist in the selection, training, development and management of technical personnel
