Tax Senior Manager

• Manage the timely delivery of federal and state compliance filings for REITs, complex tiered partnership structures, corporations, individuals, and trusts.
• Oversee quarterly and year-end REIT qualification testing, earnings and profits calculations, and dividend taxability disclosures.
• Consult with clients on various tax and real estate issues, including quarterly estimated tax payments and state tax withholding calculations.
• Develop client relationships and respond to client needs.
• Have a thorough understanding of accounting and income tax compliance issues related to real estate.

• 8 to 10 years of technical tax experience
• Proficiency in taxation of partnerships, LLCs, and similar flow-through entities
• Knowledge of REIT tax issues
• Master's degree in Taxation preferred
• CPA license required
• Experience in Big 4 or other national accounting firms preferred
• Private sector experience is a plus
• Familiarity with GoSystems tax software and advanced Excel skills preferred
• Excellent analytical and judgment skills
• Strong team player with leadership and mentoring abilities
• Proven engagement management skills
