Esthetician

The Esthetician role is in charge of treating patients in regard to their skin care, facials, dermaplaning, and facial resurfacing. Making the patients feel comfortable is of the utmost importance, along with educating them about the products and procedures that you are recommending. This way, you can develop a collaborative treatment plan that everyone understands and benefits from. If there is a procedure that the patient would benefit from that you do not perform, it is your responsibility to refer them to the proper practitioner.

This is an hourly position that provides profit-sharing incentives and reports directly to the Practice Director.

• Check email & Trello, as applicable, at the beginning and end of each shift
• Check patients in and out, create invoices, and take payment for their services
• Keep the space clean
  • Turn over rooms as soon as patients leave, change out linens, put out gowns, and clean counters if necessary
  • Keep clean towels and gowns stocked
• Contact patients who haven’t been seen in 2 or more months
  • Reach out with a reminder text first
  • Reach out with an offer if no traction within 1 week
• Know all office promotions
  • Make sure to ask patients at check-out how they are doing with their skin care products
  • Point out the Google Review QR code to patients as they check out
  • Educate our patients on our referral program
  • Invite patients to join our Membership plan
• Conduct an inventory of products in the reception area
• Participate in community events, as applicable
• Execute side-work tasks or ongoing projects during downtime

• Perform Hydrafacials, dermaplaning, and chemical peels
• Ensure the Esthetics program runs smoothly
  • Stay stocked on products
  • Follow up with patient concerns that may arise post-facial procedures and escalate internally as needed
  • Create a comfortable room ambience, and make that space your own
  • Build up the department by creating new promotions to bring in or retain more patients
  • Ensure a consistent social media strategy and schedule
  • Variable tasks will be given as needed
• Clean tubing quarterly on the Hydrafacial device

• Experience:
  
  Must be fully trained, preferably with 1-2 years of clinical experience
