Patient Call Representative - PN Patient Access & Revenue Cycle Admin (Full Time, 8‑Hour Day)

Job Description
The patient call representative will handle incoming and outgoing calls with patients to schedule appointments, conduct full registration, and address scheduling, insurance, or registration‑related inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments via phone.
• Conduct full patient registration.
• Answer patient inquiries about scheduling, insurance, and registration.
• Maintain accurate phone logs and records.
• Use Epic system and meet certification deadlines.
• Apply HIPAA and security protocols.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (preferred).
• 1 year experience in a healthcare call center (preferred).
• Epic proficiency required; must be passed within 90 days of start date.

Skills

• Proficient keyboard and typing skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Empathy, professionalism, and integrity.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and diverse individuals.
• Knowledge of JMH patient navigation programs.

Shift and Hours
08:00 – 17:00 (No Waiver); 40 hours per week.

Pay Range
$25.99 – $35.09 per hour (adjusted to local market if hired outside the Bay Area).
