Registered Dietitian Sales Representative (San Jose Area)

This position is in the San Jose area. The successful candidate will be a registered dietitian with a focus on formula-based foods, primarily pediatric and tube feeding, and will work with hospitals and practices to promote appropriate use and dosing of products.

Base pay: $ – $ per year.

Additional compensation:
Commission (average $1,000–$3,000 per month) and a car allowance (minimum $500 per month). Total package likely to exceed $125,000.

• Product line focus for these dietitians is formula based foods (primarily pediatric and tube feeding).
• This sales rep will meet patients as they are discharged and explain proper use/dosing.
• Business development is based on establishing relationships with hospitals and practices in the area (very robust sales tracking system and warm leads).
• Must be a registered dietician.
• 1 day in office, 4 days remote.
• Work will be in and around Walnut Creek; must be able to commute to the Walnut Creek office 1 day/week.
• Relationship-based sales; no prior sales experience required.

• Current Registered Dietitian licensure.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel within your assigned territory, and to company meetings.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to sell a service and promote a product line.
• Experience with enteral patients, pediatric enteral experience preferred.
