Location:

Marriott in Walnut Creek, CA.

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive.
• Recompute or compute bill, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due, using adding machine or cash register.
• Makes change, cashes checks, and issues receipts to customers.
• Records amounts received and prepares reports of transactions.
• Reads and records totals shown on cash register tape and verify against cash on hand.
• Read, maintain and make daily entries in the logbook to coordinate communication between shifts and management.
• May be required to know value and features of items for which money is received.
• May give cash refunds or issue credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise.
• May sell candy, cigarettes, gum and gift certificates.
• Required to be always in uniform when working on the property including wearing name identification badge.
• Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company.
• All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.

• Use math to figure costs and make change.
• Deal with the public with tact and courtesy.
• Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
• Make decisions based on information that can be checked or verified.
• Always maintain a professional appearance and manner.
• Do the same task over and over, frequently following a simple routine.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions; lift, bend, stoop, walk, push, or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor.

Physical Demands:
Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree, and/or requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

• High school completion or an equivalent level of education and experience.
• Must thrive in a multi-tasking, fast paced working environment.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by WCG, Inc. from time to time, is essential to be successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance/tardy will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Windsor Capital Group, Inc. rules and regulations and will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
