Workday Financials Architect

Workday Financials Reporting Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-impact reporting solutions within their Workday Financial Management ecosystem. This role will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced financial reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer, Composite Reports, Matrix Reports, and Workday Prism Analytics.
• Architect scalable reporting frameworks that support General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Procurement, and Expense modules.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure alignment with financial compliance standards (GAAP, IFRS) and internal audit needs.
• Optimize report performance and data integrity through best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance and training to analysts and end-users on report usage and self-service capabilities.

SKILLS:

• At least 7 years of Workday experience in a delivery role across multiple Workday financial deployments
• Experience around configuring end-to-end finance process which include, but are not limited to, FDM (Foundational Data Model), Supplier and Customer Accounts, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable, Projects, and Revenue Management
• Experience leading Workday Financials design and customer confirmation sessions with an understanding of Workday financial integrations and related APIs
• Strong understanding of core finance and accounting principles.
• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics, Adaptive Planning, or Workday Studio
