Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California requiring active CA licensure and night shift availability.

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Care for laboring mothers including high-risk OB cases
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Responsibilities include caring for low and high-risk laboring patients
• Must provide care primarily during night shifts as scheduled
• Must adhere to hospital dress code and unit procedures
• No restriction against local candidates, local and travel rates are the same
• Employment contingency requires not exceeding two years of assignment without a 90-day break
• Must comply with all vaccination requirements if applicable

• Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
• 1 year of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Last four digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
