• Maintain awareness of golf product knowledge, terminology, promotions, and merchandise.
• Evaluate customer needs, apply golf equipment knowledge, and recommend products.
• Educate customers on golf products and compare differences for informed decisions.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer data during in‑store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keep the sales floor organized and clean.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition from stockroom and inventory as needed.
• Recognize and suggest improvements to processes once fully trained.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

• Physical ability to stand/move, bend, stoop, lift up to 15 lbs, carry, walk, and reach.
• Working knowledge of word‑processing, spreadsheets, inventory, internet and order processing systems.
• Ability to work varied hours/days per business needs.

• Golf knowledge/background required.
• Experience working in the golf industry is a plus (entry‑level candidates considered).

The hourly rate for this position is $12.00–$18.00 per hour plus a commission rate between 1.75% and 6% based on department and product. Individual starting rate may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
