Garda World Security Services is hiring a Special Response / Flex Tactical Armed Security Supervisor. Ready to suit up?
We value your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act. Tell us how your keen observation skills are your greatest strengths. As a Tactical Security Officer, physical ability is essential, as you patrol environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, and more.

Varies - Fully flexible; available any day of the week and any shift (day, swing, overnight). No guaranteed or set schedules.
- Competitive hourly wage of $33–$36 per hour (Daily Pay available).

- Conduct post‑checks of officers under your supervision.
- Train new officers.
- Ensure 100 % coverage of the site to eliminate dark posts.
- Issue corrective action forms (CAFs).
- Patrol sensitive areas for suspicious activity.
- Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
- React quickly to threats or incidents.
Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras. - Document incidents and actions taken.
- Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks.
- Collaborate with law enforcement on serious incidents.
- Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.
- State security license and additional 32 h Business Security & Information Systems (BSIS) security trainings; additional training available during hiring.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Minimum one‑year armed security experience.
- Minimum one‑year security supervisor experience.
- Active exposed firearm permit.
- Active driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Fully flexible to work any day/shift; no set schedule offered.
- Provide an up‑to‑date security resume.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Documentation of high school diploma or GED.
- Clean motor vehicle record.
- Successfully complete an extensive screening process.
- First aid certification is an asset.
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift.
- Security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is a plus.
