Dry Kings Restoration™ is a woman-owned building restoration company specializing in disaster recovery solutions for both commercial and residential properties. We work with a variety of clients, including HOAs, schools, churches, and multifamily and single-family properties, to restore buildings after experiencing water or fire damage. Dry Kings is a licensed, insured, and bonded General B contractor, certified by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
Our mission is to restore livelihoods by providing expert services such as fire and water damage restoration, mold remediation, smoke removal, and cleanup, using the latest technology and techniques. Located in Walnut Creek, CA, Dry Kings is committed to responding swiftly and effectively to minimize damage and provide the best outcomes for our clients.
The Lead Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Walnut Creek, CA. This position involves leading and coordinating restoration projects, including water damage mitigation, fire damage restoration, mold remediation, and emergency services. The Lead Technician will supervise team members, perform job site evaluations, operate advanced restoration equipment, document project progress, and ensure safety and compliance standards are met. Candidates will conduct thorough site inspections, provide excellent customer service, and maintain detailed project records to ensure efficient and high-quality project completion.
Qualifications- Proficiency in water damage restoration, fire damage restoration, and mold remediation processes
- Familiarity with operating advanced equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, and extraction tools
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Experience with documentation and report writing for restoration projects
- Ability to manage time effectively and communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of local safety and compliance requirements relevant to building restoration projects
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy equipment, and work on different job sites
- IICRC certification and experience in the restoration industry are highly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus
