QA Automation Engineer

Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a Cypress QA Automation Engineer to join their team. As a Cypress QA Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting various development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem‑solving, and a collaborative mindset.

Job Title: Cypress QA Automation Engineer

Location: Remote

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications and APIs.
• Maintain and update automation framework and tools to keep them efficient and aligned with the latest technologies and requirements.
• Work closely with the development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Integrate automation scripts into the Azure Dev Ops CI/CD pipeline.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve automation‑related issues and failures.

• 45 years of experience in QA automation, with at least 1-2 years of hands‑on experience in Cypress.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script for developing test scripts.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Hands‑on experience integrating automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with test management tools (Azure Dev Ops Test Plan or JIRA).
