Swim Instructor Part Time

Our amazing, mission-based organization is looking for FUN teachers
. British Swim School was founded in 1981 and offers the Bay Area’s premier water survival, learn‑to‑swim, and stroke development program. Our teachers have the opportunity to change someone’s life!

As a swim instructor, you will teach students of all ages in accordance with the British Swim School aquatics program. Even if you are not an expert swim instructor, that’s okay!
We can train anyone on how to teach the way we teach
, but here is what we do need from you:

• You need to be a “swimmer.” Ideally, you have an understanding of all four strokes and an overall appreciation for the water.
• You’ve got to love working with children and seeing them progress.
• You need to be upbeat and ready to enjoy having fun at work.
  Having fun is mandatory!
• This is a year‑round indoor position, and we are looking for longer‑term employees.
• Be able to work weekend mornings from 8:45 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
• Be able to work weekdays from 3:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
• Be able to reliably commute to our pool located in Walnut Creek and/or Concord!

• Pay starts at $18.00 /hr

Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
