• Perform all duties in compliance with Global Food Safety Initiatives (GFSI), USDA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), SSOP’s and safety regulations)
• Ensure safety guidelines are met
• Assist plant management to meet/increase production output and efficiencies
• Maintain quality control standards while adhering to HACCP guidelines
• Ensure food safety and security regarding the manufacturing, handling and storage of all raw materials, ingredients and finished goods
• Control loss, minimize/eliminate downtime and improve product yield
• Coordinate training, scheduling and labor management
• Supervise the packaging of meat products varying from whole body to skinless, boneless meat while meeting finished product internal and USDA criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Food Science, Chemistry or related field
• Previous GFSI/HACCP/SSOP experience in the meat industry
• 5+ years manufacturing/management related experience in a food production and sanitation environment
• Prior experience in developing and managing training programs, understanding diverse learning styles and levels of education
• Self-motivated and high performance oriented, proven ability to increase efficiency and reduce loss
• Ability to use and drive of shop floor control metrics to maintain and improve performance
• Solid attention to detail to maintain records and reports
• Problem solving and statistical skills
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written across all levels
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Pass background check, drug test and E-verify(I9)
• Able to lift upto 50 lbs
