PRN Pharmacist

Position: PRN Pharmacist at Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy, Boston, MA.

Hours:

PRN; between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST.

Location:

Greater Boston Long Term Care Pharmacy providing specialized care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the United States.

• Manage workflow processes, including pharmacist verification and labeling/packaging.
• Review medication orders and evaluate their appropriateness and completeness.
• Comply with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws, including regulations by the State Boards of Pharmacy, DEA, and FDA.
• Perform all job duties with a friendly, positive, team‑oriented approach.
• Maintain required licenses or certifications in good standing.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Pharmacist‑in‑Charge.

• Minimum one year experience in a retail or long‑term care pharmacy (3+ years preferred).
• Must possess an MA State Board of Pharmacy pharmacist license.
• Order entry experience required.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM (preferred).
• Medical records experience preferred.
• Experience with Framework
  
  LTC preferred.
• Positive personality, teamwork ability, high‑paced comfort.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to de‑escalate and troubleshoot pharmacy problems.
