The pre‑weigh operator measures materials for production batches and prepares batch kits to be formulated into buffers. This operator will also support basic buffer preparation for the reagents formulation lab. This role is well suited to an ambitious professional interested in manufacturing components used in life‑saving tests. The work is conducted in a controlled laboratory environment, using guidance instructions, and under the guidance and support of biochemist experts.
This position includes the handling of biological and chemical components, including hazardous and DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) controlled materials.
Key Responsibilities- Execution of instructions to manufacture chemical and biological reagents
- Accurate and neat recording of information
- Use of Microsoft Office software (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment (e.g., pH and conductivity meters)
- Lab duties as required (e.g., restocking and sanitizing workstations)
- Use of SAP software for production transactions and inventory control
- Knowledge and use of current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
- Maintaining compliance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) requirements
- Demonstrating professionalism and inclusion in the workplace
- Fostering a team environment
- Developing technical skills with the support of biochemists and managers
- High School diploma, with strength in science and math
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work individually and in a team setting
- Must pass a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) background check
- Ability to work weekends as part of routine schedule
- Positions in this area bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform formulation work. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with the proper equipment.

Compensation and BenefitsBase Pay: $36,700 – $55,040. Pay may be influenced by geography, skills, education, and experience. This is a commission‑eligible position in accordance with the Company’s plan. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, paid parking, paid time off, and other eligible benefits.
