Overview: As a Sales Executive, you will lead the effort to build your territory to the sales expectations and goals set by Management while delivering an exceptional experience for your customers. For Ashworth, that means owning all of the territory sales responsibilities and results. You must work closely with Customer Service and Sales Management to ensure all orders are flowing correctly and deal with any issues that may arise with the utmost professionalism.
You love being in the trenches and working directly with customers while delivering results. You must bring a natural curiosity to work every day to ask the right questions to build better relationships with your customers. Your energy and enthusiasm are contagious, helping to bring out the best in the people around you. You must be collaborative and have impeccable follow‑through and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- BA/BS degree required.
- Experience in the golf apparel market. Other experience within the golf market will be considered.
- Self‑motivated, positive attitude to meet the goals set before them.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to providing excellent customer experience.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional listening skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- High‑level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively navigate conflict.
- Proactive/Problem solving mindset.
- Effective team player who collaborates with others and shares ideas.
- Demonstrate high standards of ethical conduct.
- Excited to be a part of the Ashworth Golf Team and have a passion for golf fashion and making a difference with your customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Ashworth Golf and territory accounts, providing excellent service and precise communication.
- Actively travel the territory, calling on existing accounts as well as prospecting and opening potential Ashworth Golf accounts.
- Achieve sales goals while growing the territory's accounts and sales volume.
- Participate Sales Team calls as well as other training sessions required by Management, including annual sales meetings and trade shows.
- Understand Ashworth Golf's order entry system, Rep Spark, to ensure accurate orders.
- Utilization of key systems sales tools: microsites, order confirmations, and catalogs.
- Represent and maintain high brand standards in all communication, both internal and external.
- Communicate proactively with Customers, Customer Service, and Sales Management when problems arise and bring solutions to the table.
