Accounts Associate

The Accounts Associate will support the preparation of accounts, bookkeeping, and compliance work for a range of clients while completing a structured training programme. This role is ideal for someone beginning their professional accounting career and looking for hands on experience alongside formal qualification.

• Bookkeeping and data processing in accounts software, such as Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, etc.
• Assist with the preparation of VAT returns.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts.
• Liaison with clients to build a rapport on an ongoing basis when completing work.
• Ensuring completed work is accurate and professionally presented to senior members of staff.
• Administrative duties — Filing, scanning, organising client documents, and supporting the wider team.

• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles or willingness to learn
• Confident with Excel and general IT system
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Professional communication and a positive attitude toward learning
• Ability to work well in a small team environment

• Full support towards ACCA qualification, including study leave and exams.
• Practical experience aligned with ACCA’s PER (Practical Experience Requirement).
