Position: School Administrator - Level 2 (TV40226)

LEAMORE PRIMARY SCHOOL School Administrator – Level 2 15 hours per week – two days a week - Term time plus five training days (Preferably Mondays and Tuesdays) Grade Three (SCP 4 –
6) This equates to a salary range of (SCP
4) £8,509.56 – (SCP
6) £8,781.20 per annum Fixed Term until 31.8.26

Required a.s.a.p. an efficient school administrator for our busy school office (term time only). We are particularly interested in applications from people with school office experience (although not essential). The successful candidate will:

  • Act as first point of contact for visitors to school
  • Reception duties: answering the telephone, face to face enquiries, helping visitors to the school
  • Provide general clerical/administrative support within a busy school office, e.g. completing standard forms, responding to routine correspondence, photocopying, etc.
  • Maintaining manual and computerised records/MIS systems such as SIMS (training will be provided)
  • Producing lists, information, data, basic pupil data, attendance, finance, etc.
  • Undertake word-processing and other IT based tasks, sorting of mail
  • Maintaining and collating pupil reports and general administrative procedures
  • Operating equipment/using ICT packages such as Word, Excel, and Internet etc.
  • Maintaining stock and supplies
  • Undertaking general financial administration, e.g. processing orders
  • Handling cash, when alternative methods are not available
  • Providing general advice and guidance to staff, pupils and others.
  • Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school
  • Participate in relevant training and other learning activities as required
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team and appreciate and support the role of other professionals.
