We are seeking a reliable and organised Importing Assistant to support our Purchasing Department team. The successful candidate will assist with coordinating international shipments, managing import documentation, liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders, and ensuring goods are imported efficiently and in compliance with customs regulations., Coordinate and monitor incoming international shipments.
- Prepare, review, and maintain import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport providers.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to relevant departments.
- Assist in customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with import regulations.
- Resolve shipment discrepancies, delays, and documentation issues.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
- Support stock planning.
- Assist with cost analysis and verification of freight and customs charges.
