Job Summary

UKAS accredited company in Midlands recruiting an experienced Asbestos Surveyor. Proven technical knowledge and signed off for the full range of asbestos surveys required. Portfolio includes commercial, local authority and domestic client contracts. Good access to major routes (M6 and/or M1) beneficial.

£27k – £42k + training. Benefits include overtime, company vehicle, fuel card, pension scheme and annual leave allowance.

• Track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited company
• Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
• Fully conversant in HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
• Confident in communicating technical matters to clients
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• IT literate
• Interested in candidates with p401/p402/p403/p404 or s301 CCP

• Conduct asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys
• Ad‑hoc re‑inspection surveys
• Work across commercial, local authority and domestic contracts
• Collect ACM samples from site
• Produce detailed technical reports and schematic drawings
• Provide technical advice and project updates to clients
• Maintain high standards of service
• Adhere to safety and compliance guidelines
• Meet/exceed performance targets
