Are you passionate about supporting individual children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with SEND in a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to a child's educational experience by offering tailored, consistent, and nurturing support.
The Role:
· Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with specific SEND needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech & language difficulties)
· Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
· Adapt learning materials and approaches to suit the childs individual needs
· Support the pupils academic, social, and emotional development
· Maintain accurate records of progress and share feedback with the wider team
· Contribute to a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
· Have previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting (essential)
· Have experience in a 1:1 role or similar (preferred)
· Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in education or childcare (essential)
· Be calm, compassionate, and proactive in supporting additional needs
· Communicate effectively with colleagues, children, and families
· Hold an enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
Requirements to Work with Prospero Teaching:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold a valid, enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
· Provide two child-related professional references covering the last two years
