Welding Tutor​/Assessor

Position: Welding Tutor / Assessor (Permanent)

We are recruiting a Welding Tutor & Assessor to join a well-established Midlands training provider known for:

The Role

As a Welding Tutor & Assessor, you will:

• Deliver high-quality practical and classroom-based welding training

• Assess learners both on-site and in the workplace

• Support learners across apprenticeships, short courses and Skills Bootcamps

• Contribute to curriculum planning and development

• Maintain industry standards and promote safe working practices

Who We’re Looking For

You may be:

• An experienced coded welder or fabricator looking to move into teaching (training provided), or

• A qualified tutor/assessor seeking a stable, rewarding role in a respected training environment.

Essential:

• Strong industry background in welding/fabrication

• Passion for developing others

• Good communication and organisational skills

Desirable (but training can be provided):

• Teaching (PTLLS/AET, DTLLS, Cert Ed)

• Assessor qualification (TAQA/ A1/ CAVA)
