Are you an experienced behaviour mentor looking for a new role? We are currently working with a large SEMH provision in South Manchester to recruit calm and resilient behaviour mentors to start in January. The school supports pupils aged between 11‑18, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
  • Prepare learning resources to encourage engagement
  • Build rapport with pupils, parents and staff to foster a positive learning environment
  • Deliver individualised mentoring sessions to help students understand and regulate their emotions
What We Are Looking For :
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational or residential care setting
  • A calm and empathetic approach to behaviour management
  • The ability to remain positive and proactive in challenging situations
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child‑related references that cover at least the last two years
