Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor – Queen Mary’s Grammar School, Walsall

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our collaborative and supportive team. The position is causal, as and when required.

Supervise classes during the absence of teachers, under the guidance of the Cover Manager and senior teaching staff. Implement programmed work with students in or out of the classroom, working constructively as part of the teaching team and understanding classroom roles and responsibilities.

• Experience of a cover supervision role within a school context.

• Flexibility, initiative and ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Good numeracy and literacy skills, familiarity with ICT and ability to support learning.

• Ability to deal with colleagues and students appropriately.
