Term-time | Full-time About the Opportunity An inclusive and supportive school in Ealing is looking to appoint a Speech and Language Assistant to support pupils with speech, language, and communication needs. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain practical experience in an educational setting while supporting children to develop essential communication skills. Your Role Will Include:
Supporting pupils with speech, language, and communication difficulties in class Delivering structured speech and language programmes designed by a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups Encouraging pupils confidence, interaction, and expressive language Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND and ASD We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with children or young people (education, care, or youth settings) Is enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn Can work effectively as part of a team This Role Would Suit:
Graduates in Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology, or Education Individuals considering a future career in Speech and Language Therapy or SEND support Experienced school-based support staff seeking a specialist role What the School Offers:
