Sen Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary SEN school in Walsall. This is a full-time position starting in March 2026, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right individual.

• Providing tailored one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs
• Assisting teachers with the delivery of engaging, differentiated lessons
• Adapting resources and learning strategies to meet individual academic and behavioural needs
• Encouraging student independence, confidence, and positive engagement
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support

• A graduate or soon-to-be graduate in any subject area
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
• Patient, resilient, and compassionate, with a strong commitment to inclusive education
• A proactive team player with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a school setting.
