Job Title

Teacher with the ability to teach a range of subjects up to KS4.

Full Time – M1-M6 (Fixed Term in the first instance).

Shepwell Short Stay School is a progressive and vibrant learning community focusing on raising the aspirations and potential of every pupil. We provide a continuation of education for pupils who, due to a variety of illnesses (including medical health) and possibly ASC/ADHD, are unable to attend mainstream secondary school. We offer a varied curriculum that meets bespoke needs to re‑engage with education.

Teach across key stages and subjects, including onsite teaching, home tuition, support with Section 19, pastoral and wellbeing care. Contribute to the life of the school and engage with pupils to inspire their learning.

• Experience teaching young people with ASC/ADHD/Anxiety.
• Experience with trauma‑informed approaches, SEND and mental health.
• Team player.
• Ability to engage and inspire pupils.

Must be able to drive and have business insurance or be prepared to add business insurance to their car insurance policy.

Must hold a full enhanced DBS clearance.
