Are you an experienced roofer in the Walsall area with strong skills in waterproofing or sheeting and cladding?

This is a great opportunity to take your career in a new direction, and use the knowledge you’ve built on-site to guide the next generation of roofing apprentices!

You’ll receive full training to become a qualified assessor, along with excellent support, and the chance to develop professionally in a centre-based role.

Duties:

Assess and support learners working towards full Apprenticeships in Roofing (level
2), delivering either:
Waterproof and Membrane and/or Sheeting and Cladding (depending on competency).
Deliver full training and support learners through their Functional Skills - Maths, English and ICT to level 2.
Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and completions.
Support learners through the End Point Assessment Process.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Essential Criteria :

Must hold solid occupational competency within Roofing (specifically waterproof and sheeting/cladding competencies).
Ideally hold (or willing to work towards) a recognised teaching/assessing qualification: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.Personal

Skills:

Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
