OverviewWalsall Council is seeking an Early Years SEN Teacher to join the Specialist Advisory Team. The successful candidate will support and empower settings in meeting the needs of early years children with SEND in various early years settings. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years SEN Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) aged 0-5.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide specialised support and guidance to a range of early years settings, ensuring they can effectively meet the diverse needs of these children.
- Provide specialised support and guidance to early years settings, ensuring the diverse needs of children with SEND are met.
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE) with a specialisation in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or related field.
- Experience working with young children, preferably in an early years setting with a focus on SEN.
