Primary Teacher – Walsall

I C Talent are recruiting on behalf of a Walsall-based primary school seeking a confident and adaptable Primary Teacher to join their team. The school is open to teachers with experience in either KS1 or KS2, offering flexibility depending on your strengths and background.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to your allocated year group (KS1 or KS2)

* Using assessment effectively to inform planning and close learning gaps

* Delivering structured phonics sessions where required and embedding early reading strategies

* Preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage expectations, including Phonics Screening or SATs

* Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

* Working collaboratively with support staff and year group colleagues

* Completing all marking, assessment, and reporting responsibilities

* Engaging with parents and carers to support pupil progress

What the School Is Looking For:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Experience teaching in either KS1 or KS2

* Strong knowledge of phonics delivery and early reading development

* Confident understanding of curriculum expectations across the primary phase

* Experience supporting pupils through statutory assessments

* Strong behaviour management and organisational skills

* A reflective practitioner with a proactive and positive attitude

* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential for this role (or willingness to obtain one prior to employment).
