SEN Teacher

Smart Education is currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher to work in Walsall within a specialist SEN school setting. This SEN Teacher role offers an exciting opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs in a nurturing, structured and highly supportive environment.
We are seeking a committed SEN Teacher who is confident delivering differentiated lessons and adapting learning to meet individual pupil needs. This SEN Teacher position is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, with flexibility across long-term, short-term and day-to-day opportunities.
Working as a SEN Teacher, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on improving outcomes for pupils with complex needs. Every SEN Teacher in the setting plays a key role in supporting both academic progress and personal development.

Job Requirements of a SEN Teacher:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with pupils with SEN within a UK school setting as a SEN Teacher
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced Child or Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Role responsibilities of a SEN Teacher:
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons as a SEN Teacher
• Support pupils with a range of additional learning and communication needs
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and wider school teams as a SEN Teacher
