Role OverviewYou’ll work with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You’ll help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self‑esteem. Resilience and dedication are required. With professional support and team resources, you’ll build a rewarding teaching career.
School & CommunityBescot Hall is a brand new, purpose‑built, state‑of‑the‑art school catering primarily for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and also for children with autism who have moderate speech and learning needs. The school provides education to up to 72 children aged 8 to 16. This opportunity serves Walsall and the wider communities.

- Collaborate with psychologists, teaching assistants, therapists, and other teachers to meet individual pupil needs.
- Contribute to the purpose‑built school's educational vision and outcomes.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous teaching experience with autistic and/or SE(MH) students.
- ‘Can‑do’ attitude, team player, genuine passion for teaching.
- Ability to relate subject to pupils and build relationships.
