Level 2 Teaching Assistant (SCP 7 - 11) – KS1
32.5 hrs per week, Term Time plus INSET days.
Salary range £26,403 - £28,142 Pro rata

The Executive Headteacher and Governors of Leighswood School are seeking to appoint a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work in our KS1 Specialist Resourced Provision classroom.
These are new roles as we are opening our Specialist Resourced Provision for children with Communication and Interaction needs in the autumn term. The successful candidates will work in classes with a Class Teacher, at least 1 additional Teaching Assistant, and up to 8 children.
The successful candidate will work alongside our SENCo, KS1 Specialist Resource Provision Teacher and wider Inclusion Team, as well as our dedicated team of teachers and teaching support staff.
The successful candidate will have access to, and work closely with, Cadmus Inclusive who provide exceptional SEN advice and support for schools across and well beyond Walsall.
