Behaviour, Wellbeing, and Safeguarding Coordinator Job Summary
Walsall College currently has an opportunity for a Behaviour, Wellbeing and Safeguarding Coordinator to join our dedicated team in ensuring our students are supported in all aspects of safeguarding. This is a vital role and the post holder will be responsible for coordinating a wide range of student support services which include safeguarding, the Prevent Duty, behaviour and attitudes, mental health and wellbeing.
The role will ensure the delivery of an excellent student experience in relation to these areas. You will be a key advocate for ensuring that every student matters, especially for our most vulnerable and underrepresented students.
- Coordinate student support services including safeguarding, the Prevent Duty, behaviour and attitudes, mental health and wellbeing.
- Advocate for every student, particularly the most vulnerable and underrepresented students.
- Maintain effective communication and liaising with external partners and students.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering a safeguarding service.
- Experience communicating and liaising with a variety of people, including external partners and students.
- Ability to champion safeguarding duties and support student wellbeing.
- Competitive salary: £38,681 per year.
