A secondary school in Walsall is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their department from September 2026 on a full‑time supply basis.

The successful candidate will teach Music across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' practical performance skills, compositional techniques, listening abilities, and appreciation of a broad range of musical styles and genres. You will inspire students to explore music through performance, composition, and critical listening while supporting those working towards their GCSE Music qualification.

As a full‑time member of the department, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high‑quality lessons, assessing student progress, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where creativity and confidence can flourish. You may also have the opportunity to contribute to concerts, performances, school productions, and wider extracurricular music activities.

• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification; ECTs are welcome to apply.
• Have experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4.
• Be confident delivering both practical and theoretical elements of the Music curriculum.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Be committed to supporting student progress and achievement.
• Have a passion for music education and inspiring young people through the performing arts.
