Overview
Youth Mentor –
Location:
Manchester (M13). Pay: £505-£550 per week (depending on experience).
Start Date:
03/09/2026.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm.
- Offer both 1:1 and group support to pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and carers to monitor progress.
- Provide both academic and emotional support to encourage pupils to reach their full potential.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided).
- Team Teach Level 2 is highly desirable but training can be provided.
- Previous experience supporting SEMH in a community or school-based role.
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
- Have an enhanced child barring list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to apply).
- Be able to provide two professional child-related references.
