SEN Intervention Tutor

The Role

We are looking for compassionate and experienced SEN Intervention Tutors to support children in East London. This temporary role involves delivering targeted interventions in Maths, English, or Science to children with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.

• Plan and deliver bespoke 1‑1 lessons based on each child’s needs and abilities.
• Use creative and adaptive teaching strategies to engage students with SEN.
• Monitor and report on student progress to parents, guardians or local authorities.
• Provide emotional and educational support to build confidence and skills.
• Collaborate with other professionals involved in the child’s education and care.

• Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with SEN children.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
• Experience supporting children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD or other learning needs.
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience with specific intervention programmes or strategies for SEN.
