The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with high levels of need. You will work collaboratively as part of a skilled team to provide a nurturing, structured environment for pupils with a wide range of complex SEND.
Responsibilities
Support children and young people as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
Assist in lessons, helping with learning, communication, and daily routines.
Work one-to-one or in small groups to help pupils achieve their EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and healthcare professionals to promote positive outcomes.
Encourage independence and wellbeing throughout the school day.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 6 months’ experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils with complex SEND.
Confident working with children and young people who have physical, medical, or learning difficulties.
Enhanced Child or Child & Adult DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to obtain one.
Ability to provide references covering the previous 24 months.

Daily rate: £95.00 - £109.25 (paid PAYE or Umbrella)
