This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with high levels of need. You will work collaboratively as part of a skilled team to provide a nurturing, structured environment for pupils with a wide range of complex SEND.
Responsibilities- Support children and young people as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
- Assist in lessons, helping with learning, communication, and daily routines.
- Work one-to-one or in small groups to help pupils achieve their EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and healthcare professionals to promote positive outcomes.
- Encourage independence and wellbeing throughout the school day.
- Minimum 6 months experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils with complex SEND.
- Confident working with children and young people who have physical, medical, or learning difficulties.
- Enhanced Child or Child & Adult DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to provide references covering the previous 24 months.
- Location: Walsall
- Contract: Long-term, starting 1st September 2026
- Daily rate: £95.00 - £109.25 (paid PAYE or Umbrella)
