We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist educational setting that supports students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives on building positive relationships and making a lasting impact on the lives of young people.
The RoleAs a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who require additional support with behaviour, emotional regulation, engagement and social development. You will play a key role in helping students access education, develop confidence and achieve positive outcomes both inside and outside the classroom.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting students with SEMH needs on a one-to-one and small group basis
Building strong, trusting relationships with young people
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Assisting teachers in delivering engaging learning activities
Supporting students during challenging situations and helping them regulate emotions effectively
