Teacher of Mathematics (with TLR) who shares these values and is committed to ensuring that every pupil has access to an exceptional mathematics education.
You will join a highly skilled and supportive department of10 strong mathematicians, working collaboratively to develop excellent practice and secure the very best outcomes for our pupils. The department is further strengthened by the support of an experiencedmathematics specialist within the Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic leadership and a genuine commitment to the continued development of mathematics across the academy.

GCSE Mathematics outcomes have shown a strong upward trend over the past three years, reflecting the commitment, expertise and collective ambition of the team. Key responsibilities:Reporting to the Head of Faculty, this post holder will be accountable for
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that support students of varying abilities in developing strong mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, using data to inform teaching and provide targeted support and intervention where needed.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations, good behaviour, and a passion for learning mathematics.
- Prepare students effectively for assessments and examinations, ensuring they are confident in applying mathematical concepts and techniques.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including participating in departmental planning, extracurricular activities, and ongoing professional development.
