Salary: £19,200 - £22,400 (£24,000 – £28,000 FTE)
Hours: Part Time 30 hours (4 days per week)

At Juniper Training, we don’t just teach—we inspire, support, and empower. We’re on the lookout for a passionate and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to support our growing provision for young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs
) at our Walsall Training Centre.

This is your chance to be part of something special—supporting young people aged 16–24 to achieve their potential, overcome barriers, and move forward with confidence into further learning or employment.

• Supporting learners in the classroom – You’ll work alongside the SEND Tutor to deliver fun, effective group sessions and 1-to-1 interventions, helping students with SEND develop skills, confidence and independence.
• Helping learners progress – From community projects and external speakers to exciting visits and enterprise activities, you’ll play a key role in delivering memorable learning experiences.
• Providing personalised support – You’ll assist in planning, organising and delivering content based on individual EHCPs, ensuring reasonable adjustments and access arrangements are in place.
• Building brilliant relationships – Whether it’s with students, local authorities, families or colleagues, you’ll help create a supportive, inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
• Making a difference every day – You’ll support assessment, marking and reviews, while encouraging good attendance, positive behavior and a love of learning.

• We’re looking for someone who’s caring, enthusiastic and ready to roll up their sleeves to support students who need that little bit of extra help.
• Level 2 English and Maths (minimum)
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Qualifications and/or experience in supporting SEND learners
• Experience of working with young people with additional needs
• Safeguarding and/or Equality & Diversity qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Qualification or HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant)
• Experience delivering SEND provision to 16–24-year-olds
• Level 3 in Dyslexia, ADHD & Autism
