Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

Work alongside the SENCO and class teachers to deliver targeted support for pupils with additional needs. You'll run short, purposeful interventions, provide 1:1 assistance, use visual supports and clear routines, and help pupils regulate and re-engage with learning. You'll keep concise notes on impact and share next steps with staff and parents.
The Candidate:You hold a psychology (or related) degree, communicate clearly, and bring a patient, empathetic approach. You can follow support plans, maintain firm but fair boundaries, and build trust quickly with pupils and families.
Requirements- Degree - A 2:2 or above in psychology subject.

- Genuine interest in SEN, child development and pupil wellbeing. - Experience working with children
- Any relevant experience (SEN support, mentoring, tutoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
