Health And Social Care Assessor

t2 Group, a health and social care apprenticeship provider, is recruiting a permanent assessor to coach learners through apprenticeship qualifications in workplace settings. The work centres on teaching, assessing and observing learners' practical competence, reviewing their work and preparing them for end point assessment. The post mixes remote delivery with planned workplace visits, and learners are supplied, so no sourcing is needed.

Candidates need a Level 3 health and social care qualification, two years' recent experience at senior carer level or above, and a full UK driving licence.

• Build relationships with learners and employers through regular reviews and engagement
• Deliver teaching, coaching and assessment sessions aligned to apprenticeship standards
• Carry out workplace observations to assess practical competency
• Review learner work and give timely, constructive feedback
• Support learners with Functional Skills in maths and English where required
• Prepare learners for end point assessment (EPA)
• Monitor learner progress and ensure timely achievement of qualifications
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and a safe learning environment

• Level 3 or above qualification in health and social care

• Minimum 2 years' recent experience in adult health and social care at senior carer level or above

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
