Teacher of Maths - Maternity Cover

E-ACT Willenhall Academy is recruiting a maths teacher on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The post centres on planning and delivering lessons that build pupils' confidence and problem-solving, alongside tracking progress and preparing students for assessments. The role sits within a school community that puts strong weight on staff support and development. Applicants need qualified teacher status and a degree in their subject specialism, and visa sponsorship is not available.

• Plan and deliver structured lessons that build maths knowledge and problem-solving for pupils of varying abilities
• Assess and track pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and target support and intervention
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom with high expectations and good behaviour
• Prepare students for assessments and examinations in maths concepts and techniques
• Contribute to departmental planning, extracurricular activities and professional development

• Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent
• Degree in a subject specialism

• Ability to teach good or outstanding lessons
• Effective classroom management
