Structural Engineer

Astute's Nuclear Team is partnering with an international design consultancy who are looking to recruit a Structural Engineer to join their busy established team in Birmingham city centre.

The strategically important Structural Engineer role comes with a salary of up to £45,000, a competitive company pension, flexible working and a market leading bonus scheme.

Reporting to the Team Leader you will:

• Deliver design work for heavy civil structures, this can include Bridges, Maritime, Tunnels and Nuclear
• Assist senior members of staff with completing projects in a timely manner
• Attend site visits and liaise with clients as and when is needed
• Complete assessment and inspection work of existing structures

We are looking for someone with the following:

• 3-5 years' experience within Structural Design
• Someone who is actively working towards Chartership (ICE or IStruct
  
  E)
• Experience with any of the following sectors:
  Bridges, Rail, Maritime, Tunnelling and or Nuclear
