Principal Geotechnical Engineer

Astute's Nuclear Team is partnering with an international design consultancy, who are looking to recruit a Principal Geotechnical Engineer for their office based in central Birmingham.

The strategically important hire of a Principal Geotechnical Engineer comes with a salary of up to £65,000, flexible working and a competitive overall package.

Reporting to the Team Leader you will:

• Perform Geotechnical design tasks to a high level
• Manage your workload as well as help support more junior engineers with their workload
• Be involved in forecasting and budgeting as well as resourcing
• Assist in liaising with clients and building out relationships
• Attend site visits as and when is required

We are looking for someone with the following:

• 8 - 10 years' experience as a Geotechnical Design Engineer
• Must hold Chartership within Civil Engineering
• Strong understanding of the contractual side of engineering
• Full right to live and work in the UK
• Experienced with Finite Element Analysis
